It genuinely breaks my heart to write this review because Star BBQ used to be my absolute go-to. This was the place I chose to celebrate every single special occasion—birthdays, milestones, and gatherings with the people I care about. It held so many great memories for me. ​The absolute best part of the meal was always their unlimited tofu soup. It was the soul of the dining experience here. Finding out that they have now cut corners and capped it at only one tiny soup per person is incredibly sad and disappointing. ​Taking away the very thing that made this place special completely ruins the experience. It feels like they no longer care about the loyal customers who have helped support them over the years. I never thought I’d say this, but after this major downgrade, I won't be returning. It’s truly the end of an era for me.

The food was pretty good but definitely was better 15 years ago when I last went there lol. But the grills r super high tech and the service is super fast! The meat comes out fast and side dishes r yummy. Their yogurt bar is super delicious too! I would definitely come back again 😆 brisket is super soft and gopchang is delicious! Good value for the price

Easily one of the worst Korean BBQ experiences I’ve had. The galbi was almost 50% fat and barely edible. There was no proper ventilation, so the whole restaurant became smoky and uncomfortable very quickly. The jumuloc was very bad — we barely touched it. Most of the side dishes were extremely bland, and we even had to ask for kimchi ourselves. What really disappointed me was that they mixed beef belly, brisket, and tongue all together on the same plate. The beef belly itself tasted poor quality and was not enjoyable at all. Overall, the food quality, presentation, and dining experience were very disappointing

Let me review for you! a year ago

At first upon entering the facility, no greeting or smiles, just a tablet to enter your name and phone # for the wait list. The cashier I see at the front may have not noticed me entering the info, even though i am the only person at the entrance, since I was asked directly, "have you signed in" in a stern voice with a slight anger to her face, no hi or welcome to star, maybe she has had a rough day? I said "yes", she replied, "what's your name, I don't see it, I told her my name and she said, "are you sure you signed in? I said again, "yes", I even went to look at the tablet and saw the name there. "Oh now I see it, it must be slow".... I didn't say anything, first time here and the impression is that the employees must not like their position, if so they shouldn't be the first person to greet guests that are observing as I. Her name was "Ann". Anyways, , we only waited 5 mins. A waiter escorted us to our table, we informed him it was our first time and he explained how their restaurant has a 3 order per at a time process. Of course you het your side dishes and instruments for cooking. Food was adequate, not too sugary or salty, just right, depending on your meats
